This policy explains when a CollabBrief subscription payment may be refunded and how to request one.
1. Free plan and trial. The permanent Free plan and the 14-day Pro trial do not require a payment, so there is nothing to refund. If you do not purchase a paid plan, the trial falls back to the Free plan automatically.
2. First subscription purchase. You may request a full refund of your first paid CollabBrief subscription within 14 calendar days of the initial purchase. Submit the request from the account email and include the workspace name and Paddle transaction or receipt reference.
3. Renewals and plan changes. You may request a refund for an accidental subscription renewal within seven calendar days of the renewal charge, provided the paid features have not been materially used after renewal. Charges for an intentional plan upgrade or a billing period already substantially used are normally non-refundable, except where required by law.
4. Duplicate or incorrect charges. Duplicate charges, incorrect amounts, and payments taken after a confirmed cancellation will be investigated and refunded when verified. Please do not include card or bank credentials in a support message.
5. How refunds are issued. Approved refunds are processed through Paddle to the original payment method. Bank and card processing times vary, and CollabBrief cannot send a refund to a different account. Paddle may contact you for information needed to locate or validate the transaction.
6. Cancellation and contact. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not automatically refund the current billing period. To request a refund, email support@collabbrief.com within the applicable period. Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer rights that apply in your country.
